Levi Strauss Co. has been the innovation leader in apparel since 1873, the year they created the world’s first blue jean. They didn’t stop there. They’ve had an impact on every decade since, from activewear for women in the early 20th century, to leading the casual businesswear revolution of the 1990s with the Dockers® brand, to providing everyday values with the Levi Strauss Signature® brand.
Being a leader in corporate citizenship is just as important to them as being an apparel innovator. Levi Strauss himself started this tradition and they’ve been keeping the spirit of his commitment to corporate citizenship alive. They opened integrated factories in the American South before it was mandated by the government, they were the first to create responsible product sourcing guidelines and pioneered policies to help employees with HIV/AIDS.
What rationale isn’t there for this research project? This compnay used every radical change they made in history in their ads and emphasized independence to appeal to the American public. This country is based on a foundation of revolution, so this tactic works very well.

I really like the topic you have established for your paper. I think it will be really interesting to read, and I think that your resources sound reliable. It is amazing to think about much of an impact companies like Levi’s really do have on this country, and how they keep citizenship alive. I like the way you have sculpted this topic . . . it is really unique and I think it will be intresting paper for you to write! Focusing on one company in particular is a good idea, and I like the way you tie in the country’s history. Good job!

You have already put a lot of thought into this topic , and it shows, great ideas! Your argument is very specific because you are only focusing on the Levi company. This definitely seems like an interesting paper so far. Everyone wears jeans, but how they do is a whole other topic. It looks like you have good sources and really put thought into the whole project. Nice job so far.

Good ideas and very well stated. You seem to know what you are talking about. Maybe add a little more and elaborate. Add some sources and maybe try separating into parts. The paper looks ready to be written, just add a little more and do a little more research.
